What are the effects of methotrexate in the lungs, short and long term. (for a WG patient) |

MTX dose not have a direct toxic effect on the lungs. A very small group of patients can experience an allergic type reaction in the lung to MTX, but this is fairly rare and generally clears when MTX is stopped. |
