Methotrexate and Pregnancy

My husband took a low dose of methotrexate for one month. We are now trying to get pregnant. Does he need to detox for 90 days. It's been already 6 six weeks since he has not taken it. Do we still need to wait. |

It is safest to wait 3 months. It is true that lower doses of methotrexate may be eliminated from the body sooner but no one would want to take a chance on a birth defect. So, better to be conservative. |
