Methotrexate and Fatigue

I take 20 mg. MTX the next day, I am so tired I can not hardly move, is this normal. |

Some patients complain of fatigue the day after their weekly MTX dose. In many cases the fatigue improves over time. In a few patients, the symptoms are severe enough to force discontinuation of MTX. Since fatigue can have many causes and MTX is an effective drug alone and in combination with TNF inhibitors, you want to make sure its the MTX that is causing the problem. |
