enbrel stopped working

My husband has been taking Enbrel for 9 months. In the beginning it worked great and all the swelling and pain was gone. Now it has started to come back. Do you have any thoughts on what to do and have you heard of this happening to others? Also, is it safe to for me to get pregnant while my husband is taking Enbrel? |

All medications have the possibility of losing effectiveness over time. Of the anti-TNF agents, one is not better than the other in this regard. Talk to your doctor. Most rheumatologists would try a diferent anti-TNF agent. There is no information about negative effects of Enbrel during conception when taken by the woman or man but studies are still ongoing. |
