knee surgery

Question  Have you heard of a procedure to implant a pad in the knee to replace missing cartilage. A procedure to ease bone on bone rubbing and done as an outpatient?

Answer  I am not sure exactly what device you are referring to. However, these types of procedures are generally not recommended for osteoarthritis where the cartilage defect is large.
