Hyalgan knee injections

I have taken a series of five Hyalgan injections. I have swelling in the knees and severe pain. What are the side effects of Hyalgan? |

Side effects are minimal as the material does not get systemically absorbed. Very rarely, inflammation can occur in the joint immediately after the injection. Your symptosm do not sound like a reaction to the Hyalgan. Infection and bleeding caused by the injections can theoretically occur but thankfully, they are very rare. |
