Regional Back and Neck Pain related to SSA Level?

Question  I have had regional pain in my back and neck.  I was tested and my ana panel had a SSA Level of 148. What does SSA Leve indicated?

Answer  The SSA ( also called anti-Ro) test is an autoantibody test that can be associated with systemic lupus (SLE) or Sjogren's Disease.  However, there can be false postives and you must have the apprpriate symptoms for the diagnosis to be made.  Regional back and neck pain is usually not as symptom of Sjogren's or SLE.
