I am 25yr old female with arthralgia since 1 yr.My RF was above 225 by elisa before one year and 96 by one week back considered to be highest by the particular methods.MY ANA was+++ by immunofluoroscence.SSA anti bodies were +++by immunoflurescence and negative by elisa.Liver function tests,blood ,urine tests are normal.No other antibodies were detcted in the EURO II method.My ESR is ranging from 100 to 15.I have malar rash and photosensitivity.I am taking prednisolone 7.5 mg and HCQS 400 mg /day since 1 yr.I do not have any other signs and symptoms of RA exept arthralgia and highest titre of RF.Highest titre of RF even after taking the medications for one year indicates the diagnosis of RA?. I do not have nodulues or effusion s orother symptoms please helpme in this aspect |

I can't make the diagnosis over the internet, but you describe signs, symptopms and blood work that may be either related to RA or lupus. RF titer may not change with treatment or activity of disease. |
