musculoskeletal arthritis

I have been told by my doctor, that I have musculoskeletal arthritis in my lower back. Do you have any suggestions for managing this at my age 75. Also the doctor perscribed a medication called "mobic" at 10mg daily. I am a heart patient and I am not sure if this is safe for me to take along with my other medications. |

Unfortunately, I am not able to give you specific advice without seeing you. You should discuss the issue of mobic with your doctor. Based on numerous studies, I would encourage you to start a regular exercise program for your back. You may wish to start with a physical therapist to help guide you and transition to a home exercise program. |
