humira and breast implants
|
I have been taking humira for psoriatic arthritis for a couple of years now. I am young and will be on the medication for many years. I am considering having breast implants - does having psoriatic arthritis or taking humira pose any additional risks to this optional surgery? Are there any additional risks with implants and the disease and humira? |

Humira likely increases the risk of post-op infections, although the exact level of risk has been hard to pinpoint. The risk will vary with the type of surgical procedures. I am not aware of any negative issues of psoriatic arthritis and breast implants. |
