Any new treatments for gout? |

Unfotunately, there has not been a new treatment for gout in literally several decades. There are some new uric acid lowering drugs in testing but none has made it to the market. The lack of new drugs is clearly a big problem for those patients unable to take allopurinol or probenecid. If there are any pharmaceutical companies listening, there is certainly a market out there. |
