Impact of fruits on Plasma Uric Acid

Melon, peach, apricot, fig and dry fig, pomegranate, don't affect to much plasma uric acid, what I want to know for each one if it affect up or down. I will be happy too if your answer have only one of this fruits, for the other fruits(apples...) I have the answers. |

Plasma uric acid levels depend on the metabolism of purines from the diet, which typically derive from proteins. Fruits are typically low in protein, and thus do not have a large effect on serum uric acid levels. Even purine rich vegetables (such as broad beans and fava beans) have little direct impact on uric acid levels compared to other dietary sources (such as meats and alcohol) |
