my husband is 42 years old our primary physician says hes the worst gout patient he has ever seen. He has chronic gout and my question is i heard there is a new drug called febuxostat that may help gout patients more so than allpurinol. Can you tell me when will this drug be on the market? thanks |

We were expecting it this fall, but the FDA has put a hold on it again. Its fate remains uncertain. |
