I KNOW THAT THERE IS ALIST OF FOODS THAT A PERSON NEEDS TO AVOID , BUT IS THER A LIST OF FOODS THAT HELPS TO ALIEVEATE THAT PAIN FASTER AND CAN HELP TO KEEP THE ATTACKES FROM COMING BACK AS OFTEN. MY HUSBAND DOSE NOT EAT ALOT OF THE FOODS THAT ARE LISTED TO HELP CAUSE GOUT. HIS IS THIN, AND ONLY HAS A THIRD OF HIS STOMIC SO HE EATS A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF FOOD. MAYBE 1200 CAL. A DAY. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRIEATED. THANK YOU. |

There are no foods that help an attack of gout to resolve. Eating foods high in purines that the body turns into uric acid, the crystal that causes gout, will increase the chance you wil get a future attack of gout.
