when is the new drug, febuxostat going to be available in the market and is it effective and safe? Any side effects? |

The FDA has asked for further information and thus I do not know a date. In the studies that I have seen presented, it looks to be effective and well tolerated. It will be a welcome addition, particularly in those patients who are not able to tolerate allopurinol. |
