Does types of food affect arthritis
|
Recently, I have been diagnosed with gout/arthritis in the big toe joint. When it flares up, I can hardly walk. Being that this is not constant pain, I am wondering if some of the food I take could bring on the bouts of swelling and pain. I also have a kidney condition, so I cannot take most of the medication available. Tylenol is about it. Thanks. |

Look at the gout article on this website for a list of foods high in purines. Purines are made into uric acid which causes gout. |
