Can Fibromyalgia be treated with Remicade or Arava? |

There are no studies showing showing the benefit of these agents for fibromyalgia and there is no evidence that systemic inflammation plays a role in the disease. Also, given that the patients with fibromyalgia generally do not respond to anti-inflammatories including high does of prednisone,there would be little rationale to do such a study with anti-TNF agents. |
