Doctors in the Minneapolis area that treat Fibromyalgia?

I have a 13-year old daugher who recently went through a long viral infection (3 1/2 months) that manifested itself as a Fever of Unknown Origin (fevers were as high as 103 and intermiitent). The fever is now gone but it appears that she may have fibromyalsia as an aftermath. She also has severe tension headaches. I cannot get doctors to officially diagnose her but a neurologiest wrote down TMD for her headaches and prescribed a muscle relaxant, heavy doses of Aleve, melatonin, and counseling. He also said she has fibromyalsia but will not record officially write it down as an official diagnosis. She is still in great pain. Are there any doctors in the Minneapolis area that will treat fibromyalsia? |
