I just had a blood test done and m doctor said that my levels for R.A was 16 he is concerned that I may have R.A, he suggested that I see a specialist. Does this "Actually" mean that I am starting to develop R.A? |

HI Rena, The level of 16 is very very low. The blood test is not enough to make the diagnosis, especially not at this low level. If there is real concern from your primary care physician that you might have RA, then a trip to a rheumatologist for a careful history and physical examination is the most important way to diagnosis it or rule it out. |
