Rheumatiod Arthritis

I have Anemia due to my RA. How low dose the numbers have to go before I should do any thing about it and is there any thing that can be done for it? |

Drugs such as Procrit and Aranesp are useful to treat the anemia of RA. The decision to use these medications depends on the patient, not just on the "numbers". I think it is reasonable to say that these drugs MAY be used to treat anemia with hematocrits below 36. |
