I have a friend who was having severe joint pain and has an elevated RF. She is now showing signs of a rash throughout her body. No itching associated and on no medications. |

Rashes while they can occur, are not a common feature of rheumatoid arthritis. RF an occur in other diseases in which rashes are more common such as acute viral illness and other autoimmune diseases such as lupus or vasculitis. She needs to see her rheumatologist. |
