Is there a relationship between Spondylarthopathies and bursitis? Also degenerative disk disease? Thanks, |
|
HI Caryn, No, there is no relationship in terms of the cause or biology of the disease. However, if you have back pain from a sponyloarthropathy, you might be more likely to get bursitis of the hip from walking funny to relieve the back pain. Degenerative disk disease is common and can occur in anyone, including patients with spondyloarthropaties but that doesn't mean they are related. |
