Title: A Phase 3b, Randomized, Active Controlled Trial to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Abatacept SC in Combination with Methotrexate in Inducing Clinical Remission Compared to Methotrexate Monotherapy in Adults with Very Early Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA).

Purpose of Study: This study is being done to understand if the combination of subcutaneous (SC) abatacept and methotrexate (MTX) or abatacept SC alone as compared to MTX alone can induce disease remission in patients with very early rheumatoid arthritis.

Recruiting Patients:

  • Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis less than 2 years ago
  • No history of taking methotrexate at a dose higher than 10 mg/ week for 4 weeks
  • Men and women age 18 and over

Title:  A randomized, parallel-group, open label, multicenter study to evaluate the effects of tocilizumab on vaccination in subjects with active rheumatoid arthritis receiving background methotrexate.

Purpose of Study: The purpose of this research study is to study the immune response to the pneumovax and tetanus vaccines after receiving tocilizumab

  • Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis on methotrexate
  • Men and women age 18-65
