Etanercept (Enbrel®) 50 mg Once-Weekly Dosing Now Available

Etanercept (Enbrel^®) is now available in a prefilled syringe containing 50 mg/mL for once-weekly dosing for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The once-weekly is now the recommended dosing schedule in adult patients. However, the 25-mg twice-weekly formulation will still be available for patients with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA) and for those who prefer that dosing method.
