Results of TEMPO Trial Now Published

Results from TEMPO (Trial of Etanercept and Methotrexate with Radiographic Patient Outcomes) have been published. Reported by Klareskog et al (Lancet 363: 675, 2004), this multicenter double-blind trial comparing the combination of methotrexate + etanercept to either methotrexate or etanercept alone involved 682 patients with established RA at 92 centers in Europe and Australia.
