Are TNF Inhibitors linked to increased risk of Lymphoma?

Based on the current safety data, an FDA panel of experts said that additional information is needed in order to determine whether or not there is an increased risk of lymphoma in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients receiving TNF inhibitors. No definitive recommendation can be made at this time. Currently, there are 3 TNF inhibitors (Enbrel®, Remicade®, and Humira®) approved for treatment in patients with RA.
